Made from local Kent sweet chestnut, these are natural and organic gates that have a rustic country appeal. Sweet chestnut is a naturally rot-resistant wood grown only in a few areas of the UK, Kent being one of them. Kit includes hand made gate, posts, hinges and latch.
The timber once cut retains the character of the tree and looks more than likely the same as gates would have done several hundred years ago.
We offer the chestnut palisade gate in a wide range of sizes to cover options from low garden gates to tall garden gates to field gates or driveway gates. They can be a great addition either as a standalone or as a feature in a flowerbed.
