A quick and easy way to get your post rock steady and solid in the ground, post mix concrete is mixed with water when in the hole and hardens in around 10 minutes. Half-fill hole with water, place the post in the hole and then empty the bag straight into the hole evenly around the post. As a guide a square 75mm x 75mm post with an 200mm x 600mm hole will require one - two bags. A 100mm x 100mm square post in a 200mm x 750mm hole will require two - three bags. Please ask if you are unsure how many bags you will require and our team will be happy to help.
- 10 minute quick setting time
- No premixing required, simply pour into the hole
- Should be shaped slightly so water runs away from the post and does not pool
- Consider allowing extra room for a little gravel at the bottom of the post hole for drainage and to protect the post from direct contact with the soil
