Product information "Capping Rail "
Capping rails sit on top of fence panels to protect and deflect the weather from the end grain of the wood. They also aesthetically 'finish off' the top of the panel. All our Chart capping rails are double weathered which means they slant to either side of the fence panel (which helps water run off) and are made from pressure treated timber for longevity of use. 46mm x18mm is best used with kit form fencing and in places where wider cover is needed.
