The perfect balance of quality, sturdiness and price . This a wooden shed for those looking for a no nonsense, long lasting and well-built garden building. As with all Chart sheds, it is made for strength and longevity. Built using 3"x 2" pressure treated timber framing it is then covered with a British Standard breathable waterproof membrane. 

The village shed is an apex shed and is clad in pressure treated Shiplap that makes it look at home in both modern and old surroundings. The roof is covered in heavy duty mineral felt.

Village Shed Specification

  • Apex shed Floor constructed using EX 1½" x 1½"(finished size 40mm x 40mm) bearers placed at 300mm centres.
  • Floor boarded with OSB 
  • Protect TF200 British Standard breather membrane between frame and cladding 
  • Framed, ledged and braced personal door measuring 762mm wide x1830mm high with 3 x 450mm Tee-Hinges 
  • Roof sections constructed using Ex 1½" x 1½" (finished size 40mm x 40mm) timber framing supported underneath with 4" x 2" (finished size 89mm x 38mm) purlins. 
  •  Boarded with 15mm OSB covered on the outside with green slate felt and trimmed with barge boards and a diamond finial.
  •  Walls clad with pressure treated shiplap Ex 16mm (finished size 12mm) 
  •  Hasp and staple ready for your own padlock
  •  Galvanised cast cabin hook to hold the door open
